Thrustmaster TH8A Shifter Add-On

The Thrustmaster TH8A Shifter Add-On is the high-end, realistic multiplatform shifter in Thrustmaster‘s racing range, built for drivers who want an authentic gear change in every type of car. Where the compact TH8S focuses on an H-pattern with a short lever, the TH8A goes further with a 13 cm metal gear stick, two interchangeable shift plates and adjustable shifting feel. It suits advanced sim racers driving road cars, rally cars, classic racers or trucks, on PC, PS5, PS4 or Xbox, and installs equally well on a desk, a shelf or a cockpit.

Two shift plates are included so the TH8A adapts to your driving style: an H-pattern plate with 7 gears plus reverse, installed by default, and a sequential (+/-) plate. The internal mechanism, gear stick and clamping system are all 100% metal, and the shifter uses H.E.A.R.T. (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) contactless magnetic sensors instead of tact switches or potentiometers, so its precision will not decrease over time. The detachable knob is compatible with real universal shifter knobs available on the market, letting you personalize the look and feel of the gear stick.

The gear-shift resistance is adjustable, and the internal memory with upgradable firmware lets you adjust the gear-shift travel using the PC software. The clamping system fits tables, desks or shelves from 1 to 55 mm thick and can be repositioned and rotated through 360°; for cockpits, the clamp can be removed and the shifter fixed with M6 screws (not included) through the threaded holes under its nose. With its USB and DIN connections, the TH8A works with all racing wheels on the market on PC, and with Thrustmaster racing wheels on game consoles.
