The Thrustmaster TH8S Shifter Add-On completes your sim racing setup with a manual shifter for more immersive driving. It is the accessible, compact option in Thrustmaster‘s shifter range: where the TH8A offers interchangeable H-pattern and sequential plates with a tall 13 cm stick, the TH8S concentrates on a short-throw H-pattern for quick, direct gear changes. It is aimed at casual and progressing drivers who want real manual shifting in rally, truck, GT or NASCAR games, on PC and consoles, without the need for a cockpit.
The 8-position (7+1) H-pattern shift plate lets you shift directly into any of the 7 gears or reverse, with no unnecessary movements, so it adapts to all types of games and vehicles with manual gearboxes. For truck driving, the number of gears can be doubled to drive trucks with up to 14 gears. The 4 cm metal shift lever makes this short shifter very responsive for clean, precise changes, and the ergonomic sport-style knob is easy to grab and keeps you in control in every situation, even off-road.
Dual connectors make the TH8S broadly compatible: on PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S it works with Thrustmaster force feedback racing wheels, and on PC it works with all racing wheels on the market. Both the mini-DIN cable for connecting it to a racing wheel base and the USB-A to USB-C cable for a PC are included. A built-in, tool-free clamping system fits tables, desks and supports from 0.1 to 4 cm thick, so the shifter can be attached or removed in seconds.
