NOX Gaming Turnkey simulator F.A.Q.

Turnkey Simulators are complete solutions to start your sim racing journey without the hassle of sourcing components, managing different warranties, building your rig, and all other steps needed to get to racing.

We take care of everything to make sure your experience goes as smooth as possible. We spec and build you a custom gaming PC for the rig, find the perfect chassis, monitors, wheelbase, steering wheel(s), pedals, seat and more for your needs.

We then take care of putting everything together, carefully building the chassis and assembling every component of the rig.

Before shipping out the whole system, we make sure every game you want is setup correctly, and every driver and software needed for the different components are up to date and ready to race.

Turnkey Simulators are shipped according to your preference. We can do a hand delivery, crate shipping, or even setup everything directly at your house or office.

On the end result, there isn't that big of a difference.

The main differentiator is that our turnkeys come pre-built, ready to race. Every component is brand new, tested and setup correctly for your experience. There is no need for researching every component, managing warranties from different manufacturers, dealing with multiple shipments and troubleshooting compatibility issues for hours. We make sure everything works right out of the box, with all software and drivers pre-installed and ready to go.

Our turnkeys also include high-end gaming PCs with a 3-year warranty, setup to your needs. With over 10 years of experience in PC building, we use state-of-the-art technologies and methods to make your experience a breeze, where you don't have to look for every setting needed to make your wheel turn.

Turnkey racing simulators at NOX Gaming start at around CAD 8,000$ for a complete, ready-to-drive entry-level setup. Mid-range rigs with direct drive hardware and triple screens typically fall between $10,000 and $15,000. High-end and professional simulators with motion platforms, premium cockpits, and flagship components can reach $50,000 or more. Every budget gets a purpose-built system, not a compromise.

Note that these costs include a complete gaming PC, monitor(s) cabling and setup.

There is no one true best starter simulator. Depending on your discipline, driving style, budget, and desires, we create a bespoke setup that truly fit your needs and desires as a sim racer.

Although some components are compatible with some consoles, our turnkey simulators are meant for use with gaming PCs. With turnkey solutions, a high-end Gaming PC is included in your setup, so there's no need to purchase another one.

Warranties depend on the manufacturer of every component.

While NOX Gaming computers have a 3-years parts and labour warranty, other warranties on products like chassis, wheelbases, steering wheels, pedals, motion systems and pedals may vary depending on the model included in the turnkey. If you want to know more about the available warranties for the products you're interested in, reach out to us via the form above, or Messenger.

We are also certified technicians with multiple of the brands we carry, meaning we're equipped to fix and replace most of the components we sell if anything happens.

A direct drive wheelbase connects your steering wheel directly to a high-torque servo motor without belts, gears or mechanical filtering between you and the simulation. The result is sharper, more detailed force feedback that communicates exactly what the car is doing at the limit: every curb, every tire slip, every surface change, felt instantly in your hands.

It is the technology Formula 1 and endurance racing teams use in their own simulators. At NOX Gaming, every turnkey simulator we build is direct drive. Brands like MOZA Racing, SIMAGIC and CONSPIT set the benchmark, and they're what we put in every rig.

It depends on your goals, but here is how sim racers typically progress. A single large monitor (27 to 32 inches, high refresh rate) is a perfectly capable starting point that keeps costs down and setup simple. A single ultrawide curved display is the next step up, adding peripheral vision without the complexity of multiple screens. Triple monitors are the competitive standard: three screens wrap your field of view to closely match what you see through a real windshield, dramatically improving spatial awareness, depth perception, and corner entry accuracy.

At NOX Gaming, we configure every turnkey simulator with the display setup that matches your budget, space, and driving goals. From clean single-screen builds to full triple-screen rigs optimized for your cockpit geometry, we build it right the first time.

Short answer: no.

The realism in sim racing comes primarily from your wheelbase, pedals, and display setup. A direct drive wheelbase with load cell pedals will transform your driving feel far more than a motion system at the same price point.

That said, motion adds a genuine layer of immersion. The subtle weight transfer through corners, the rumble of curbs, the sensation of acceleration and braking, it all contributes to a more physical experience and makes longer sessions genuinely more engaging.

Our customers describe it as a fun and worthwhile upgrade, just not an essential one. At NOX Gaming, we recommend building your core rig to the highest level your budget allows first. Once your wheel, pedals, and screens are dialed in, a motion system becomes a satisfying next step rather than a necessary one.

We are official international distributors of:
  • SIMAGIC
  • MOZA Racing
  • CONSPIT
  • SIMNET

and also carry items from

  • Advanced Sim Racing
  • 6 Sigma
  • VPG Sim

We can also source from different manufacturers and distribution partners from around the world for specific needs you might have.

The cockpit frame and seat alone typically occupy about 55 to 85 cm wide by 150 to 170 cm deep.

A single monitor setup keeps that width, but a triple-screen configuration adds a monitor stand roughly 150 to 160 cm across, bringing the total width of the installation to about 200 cm or more. Height with screens sits between 130 and 160 cm depending on the rig and mount.

In practical terms, plan for a dedicated space of roughly 2 metres wide by 2 metres deep for a complete single-screen setup, and closer to 2.5 by 2.5 metres for a full triple-screen rig. At NOX Gaming, we go over your room dimensions before building your simulator, so your setup fits correctly the first time without surprises on delivery day.

Foldable and collapsible sim racing rigs do exist, but we do not carry them at NOX Gaming.

Folding joints are structural weak points. Under the constant forces of a direct drive wheelbase and load cell pedals, those joints flex, loosen over time, and compromise the rigidity that makes a simulator feel realistic in the first place. A setup that moves when it should not is a setup that costs you lap time and immersion.

Our turnkey simulators are built on fixed, rigid frames designed to handle years of daily use without flex or fatigue. If space is a genuine concern, we would rather help you find the right compact fixed-frame rig that fits your room than sell you a foldable one that will disappoint you six months in.

Our turnkey simulators are built around professional-grade hardware from MOZA Racing, SIMAGIC, CONSPIT, Simnet, 6 Sigma, and VPG Sim, covering everything from entry-level cockpits to flagship direct drive rigs. All of our builds run on PC, and that is intentional: PC simulation gives you access to the widest library of titles, the deepest force feedback integration, and the full SimHub ecosystem for live telemetry dashboards. None of our turnkey simulators are designed for PlayStation or Xbox consoles. Force feedback, pedal input, and button mapping work out of the box across virtually every major PC racing title available today. The one variable between games is telemetry depth: some titles expose full dashboard data (RPM, gear, flags, tyre temps) to companion apps like SimHub, while others offer more limited output. We note this where relevant below.

Simulation titles (highest fidelity, serious racing)

  • iRacing - The benchmark for online competitive sim racing. Full force feedback, full SimHub telemetry support, laser-scanned tracks. Subscription-based.
  • Assetto Corsa (AC) - The gold standard for road car and track day simulation. Massive mod library. Full SimHub support.
  • Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC) - The official GT World Challenge simulator. Exceptional tyre physics and wet weather modelling. Full SimHub support.
  • Assetto Corsa EVO - The next generation of Assetto Corsa, currently in Early Access. Full hardware compatibility, SimHub support expanding as the title develops.
  • Le Mans Ultimate - The official FIA World Endurance Championship simulator. Built on the rFactor 2 engine. Full SimHub support.
  • rFactor 2 - A physics and tyre model benchmark used by real-world motorsport teams. Full SimHub support.
  • Automobilista 2 - Brazilian motorsport focus with exceptional physics and a growing car and track roster. Full SimHub support.
  • BeamNG.drive - The most advanced vehicle soft-body physics simulation available on PC. Not a traditional racing title, but an exceptional tool for understanding vehicle dynamics, weight transfer, and crash behaviour in a way no other game replicates. Full force feedback. Full SimHub support.
  • RaceRoom Racing Experience - Free-to-play with premium content. Strong DTM and WTCR representation. Partial SimHub support.

Rally and off-road

  • Assetto Corsa Rally - The Assetto Corsa brand's dedicated rally title, currently in Early Access. Built around authentic stage driving on real-world locations. Force feedback is functional and physically strong. SimHub dashboard support is limited at this stage and expected to improve with future updates. One to watch closely as it matures.
  • EA Sports WRC - The official World Rally Championship title. Full force feedback. Limited SimHub telemetry compared to simulation-focused titles.
  • Dirt Rally 2.0 - Still the community favourite for rally simulation depth. Full SimHub support.
  • Richard Burns Rally (RBR) - A legacy title with a dedicated modding community and physics that still hold up. SimHub support via plugins.

Formula and open-wheel

  • F1 25 (EA Sports) - The official Formula 1 game for the 2025 season. Accessible, polished, and updated yearly with the current driver and team roster. Good force feedback on PC. Full SimHub telemetry support available via community plugins, covering ERS, tyre wear, fuel load, flags, and live timing data.

Accessible and arcade titles

  • Forza Motorsport - Available on PC via Xbox Game Pass. Full force feedback on PC. Partial SimHub support.
  • Forza Horizon 6 - Open-world driving, a great entry point for new drivers. Force feedback functional on PC. SimHub support limited.
  • Need for Speed (series) - Casual driving experience. Force feedback functional at a basic level. No meaningful SimHub telemetry.
  • The Crew Motorfest - Casual open-world driving. Basic force feedback. No SimHub support.
  • CarX Drift Racing Online - Popular for drift practice and online drift competition. Force feedback functional. Partial SimHub support.

A note on SimHub and dashboards

SimHub is a free companion app that reads live telemetry from your game and displays it on a secondary screen, a phone, a button box display, or a custom dashboard. Gear position, RPM bar, lap delta, fuel load, tyre temperature, ABS and TC status, all of it live while you drive. Simulation titles like iRacing, Assetto Corsa, and Automobilista 2 expose full telemetry and work flawlessly with SimHub. More casual titles offer partial or no telemetry output, meaning SimHub dashboards will have limited data to display in those games. For our builds that include a SimHub-compatible display, we configure it specifically for your primary title before delivery.

Important: our simulators are PC-only

All NOX Gaming turnkey simulators ship with a dedicated gaming PC and are configured exclusively for PC simulation. Our hardware partners (MOZA Racing, SIMAGIC, CONSPIT, Simnet, 6 Sigma, and VPG Sim) do not officially support PlayStation or Xbox consoles.

Our turnkey simulators come with Windows 11 and all hardware drivers pre-installed and configured, so your rig is ready to drive the moment it arrives. Racing titles are not included by default, as most sim racers already have a Steam library or a preferred title they race on.

That said, we can absolutely include software as part of your build. If you want a Assetto Corsa set up and ready to go, Le Mans Ultimate pre-installed, or a full suite of titles configured before delivery, just let us know when ordering and we will see what is possible to build it into your package. The goal is always a simulator that is ready to race the moment you sit down.
In business for over 10 years, NOX Gaming is the Canadian reference for quality Gaming PC builds. Since 2024, its Sim Racing offering is recognized throughout the country.
