Thrustmaster Sol-R 5 Base (Joystick Base for Detachable Grips)

The Thrustmaster Sol-R 5 Base is a joystick base designed to give you more control in all types of flight simulation, from space combat to military and civil aviation on PC. It is compatible with the detachable grips of the Thrustmaster ecosystem, so you can build a stick around the grip you already own or the one that suits your aircraft, while gaining a full control surface on the base itself. With its range of buttons, you can reach your aircraft’s essential functions more quickly without going back to the keyboard and mouse, making it a strong upgrade for experienced pilots.

The base has two axes of movement, X and Y, built around H.E.A.R.T (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) sensors with 16-bit precision. Its mechanism has been refined from more than 10 years of expertise to improve durability, and it generates linear resistance in all directions, making the stick versatile for every type of flight simulation. A built-in mini-throttle lets you assign a third axis, so you can manage thrust or another function without adding a separate throttle.

The control surface offers 23 programmable actions from 4 toggle switches, 8 pads, the mini-throttle, a selector switch and a rotary knob. The pads are derived from DJ controllers for a premium feel and reliable activation, and the RGB LEDs are individually customizable. Stability supports and attachment points make the base well suited to a desk or a cockpit. It measures 196 x 196 x 67 mm, weighs 960 g, connects with a detachable USB-C cable and works with the T.A.R.G.E.T software. Please note this is a base only; a detachable Thrustmaster grip is required and sold separately.
