The Thrustmaster HOTAS Magnetic Base is the renowned magnetic joystick base from the HOTAS Warthog Flight Stick, offered on its own for the first time to mark ten years of the Warthog. It accepts detachable Thrustmaster flight stick grips on PC, making it the foundation for pilots who want to build or rebuild a high-end stick around the grip of their choice. This special 10th anniversary edition carries a dedicated commemorative logo, and it is aimed at expert military aviation simmers who expect a base that stays accurate session after session.
Precision comes from Thrustmaster‘s H.E.A.R.T (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) magnetic sensor system, delivering 16-bit resolution on each axis, or 65,536 x 65,536 values, with no gimbal. Thrustmaster designed this magnetic technology for an unlimited lifespan and optimal precision, so the base keeps the same accuracy over the years instead of degrading with use. The result is an incredibly realistic, precise base that captures the smallest corrections on approach just as faithfully as hard maneuvers in a dogfight.
Stability is built in: the base weighs 2.4 kg, measures 232 x 270 x 100 mm, and sits on a metal plate that can be detached for desk or cockpit-style use. It is part of Thrustmaster‘s mix-and-match flight ecosystem alongside the HOTAS Warthog Dual Throttles, TPR rudder and MFD cockpit panels, all sold separately, and it works with the powerful T.A.R.G.E.T programming software on PC. Please note this is a base only; a compatible Thrustmaster flight stick grip is required and sold separately.
