T.A.R.G.E.T is Thrustmaster‘s free programming software, used to test, configure and program the throttle and combine it with your other Thrustmaster controllers in a single profile.
The Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog Dual Throttle is a replica of the dual throttle system and throttle control panel of the U.S. Air Force A-10C attack aircraft, officially licensed by the U.S. Air Force. It is the throttle half of Thrustmaster‘s renowned HOTAS Warthog, built for expert military aviation simmers who want independent control of two engines, realistic switchgear and the feel of a genuine cockpit throttle under their left hand. It is designed to sit at the heart of the Thrustmaster expert flying ecosystem, next to the HOTAS Warthog Flight Stick and other compatible controllers.
Both throttle controls use H.E.A.R.T (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) 3D magnetic sensors, delivering 14-bit resolution, or 16,384 values, on each throttle for surgical and lasting precision. The two levers can be locked together or kept independent for twin-engine control, and a Pull and Push system moves them into the Idle and Afterburner detents for added realism; the Afterburner detent can be disengaged to suit the aircraft you fly. The throttle handles carry 17 action buttons, a point of view hat and a slew control (2-axis ministick) with its own 3D magnetic sensor, and buttons and switches offer realistic pressure levels.
The control panel adds a friction wheel to set throttle resistance to your taste, a trim wheel, 15 action buttons including industrial metal switches with 2 or 3 positions, backlit functions and 5 programmable LEDs for night flying. The unit measures 314 x 199 x 246 mm and weighs 5 kg. It pairs with the HOTAS Warthog Flight Stick, TFRP rudder pedals and MFD cockpit panels, all sold separately, and every element works with the T.A.R.G.E.T advanced programming software on PC.
