The Thrustmaster Viper TQS Mission Pack combines the Viper TQS throttle quadrant system and the Viper Panel control panel in one set, officially licensed by the U.S. Air Force and compatible with PC. Together they replicate the throttle, controls, flight kinematics and sensations experienced by real Viper pilots, with a 1:1 scale replica handle featuring metal casing and buttons alongside a realistic, backlit replica control panel. It is the complete throttle-side solution for military flight simmers who want to take their cockpit to the next level of performance and ergonomics in a single purchase.
The throttle faithfully reproduces the Viper‘s mechanical movement along its axis, with smooth travel on metal bearings and a legacy axis rail that reaches the Idle/Cutoff and Afterburner detents through mechanical levers and handle rotation; switching to a 100% linear axis is easy. Adjustable friction gives firm, linear travel with no dead zones, the die-cast metal construction keeps that friction constant over time, and the H.E.A.R.T (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) magnetic sensor delivers 16-bit precision. Iconic dogfight functions include metal control knobs, a Chaff/Flare slap switch to deploy countermeasures and blackout switches.
The Viper Panel adds 43 metal action buttons, including 11 virtual buttons, one trim wheel axis, MODE and PGRM rotary selectors on the CMDS panel, a landing gear lever, and jettison, laser sighting, jammer and weapon launch switches. Its backlighting includes adjustable indicator lights on the landing gear controls and the TWA (Threat Warning Aux) panel. In total the pack offers 64 action buttons and 6 axes with disengageable detents. The pack measures 230 x 296 x 260 mm and weighs 3338 g, and everything can be programmed with the free T.A.R.G.E.T software on PC.
