Thrustmaster Drivers and Firmware is used on PC to install the drivers, calibrate the throttle and update the firmware.
T.A.R.G.E.T is free, optional PC software used to test, configure and program the controls and combine several Thrustmaster devices into a single profile.
The Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition is Thrustmaster‘s first gaming throttle quadrant inspired by civil aviation, officially licensed by Airbus for a realistic and complete flight experience. It is an ergonomic replica of the throttle quadrant found on A320neo-type airliners, built for PC pilots who want proper thrust levers on the desk instead of a slider or keyboard keys. It forms the core of the Airbus TCA ecosystem, alongside the TCA Sidestick Airbus Edition, the TCA Quadrant Add-On Airbus Edition, the TM Flying Clamp and the TFRP rudder pedals.
Two separate thrust levers replicate their Airbus counterparts and include a built-in thrust reverser mechanism that is fully functional on airliners, light aircraft and transport aircraft. The quadrant offers 8 ergonomic physical action buttons plus 8 virtual buttons on the thrust levers, for a total of 16, all modelled on real Airbus controls so buttons and detents feel the way they do in the cockpit. Thrustmaster‘s contactless H.E.A.R.T (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) magnetic system uses no potentiometers, giving the quadrant an unlimited lifespan and optimal precision through every flight session.
The stepped mode reproduces the iconic Airbus detents, and mechanical selectors let you disable the detents and thrust reversers to switch to linear axis mode, so you can fly any type of aircraft. For four-engine airliners such as the A380, two quadrants can be linked together to give you four thrust levers (additional quadrant sold separately). The flaps, speed brake, landing gear and parking brake controls come with the optional TCA Quadrant Add-On Airbus Edition. The quadrant connects to your PC over USB, and the free T.A.R.G.E.T software lets you test, configure and program every control and combine your Thrustmaster devices into a single profile.
