T.A.R.G.E.T is Thrustmaster‘s free programming software, used to create mapping profiles and to combine the stick with other Thrustmaster devices so they are recognized as a single USB device.
The Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS is a full-size PC flight stick built for pilots who want comprehensive, realistic controls instead of a mouse and keyboard. It is the joystick at the heart of Thrustmaster‘s T.16000M FCS range, sold here on its own so you can start with a single stick and expand later with the matching throttle and rudder pedals. Thrustmaster positions it for advanced fliers, and its layout is especially well suited to space simulation, while remaining at home in combat flight sims and civil aviation titles such as DCS, X-Plane, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Star Citizen, Elite Dangerous and War Thunder.
Precision comes from H.E.A.R.T HallEffect AccuRate Technology, a magnetic sensor system used on the pitch and roll axes that reads 16000 x 16000 values, the same resolution Thrustmaster uses on the HOTAS Warthog. Because the sensors are contactless, the stick keeps its accuracy over time without wear on the measuring parts. A 2.8 mm helical spring inside the stick gives a firm, linear and smooth tension. In total the stick offers 4 independent axes, including a twist rudder controlled by rotating the handle, 16 action buttons with braille-style physical identification so you can find them by touch, an 8-way point of view hat switch and an ergonomic trigger.
The T.16000M FCS is fully ambidextrous: it switches easily between right-handed and left-handed use, and the twisting handle that controls the rudder can be locked in place when you prefer pedals. Two sticks can even be used together in games that support dual joysticks. Orange accents and backlighting complete the look, and the clear button layout is designed to be easy to find when you are flying in VR. The stick connects to your PC over USB and is part of Thrustmaster‘s flight ecosystem with the TWCS throttle, TFRP rudder pedals and MFD cockpit panels, all sold separately, and works with the free T.A.R.G.E.T programming software to build custom profiles.
