Thrustmaster Sol-R 3 AVA Add-On Grip (for AVA and Sol-R Bases)

The Thrustmaster Sol-R 3 AVA Add-On Grip is a precise, ambidextrous joystick grip designed specifically for space combat and exploration on PC. Rather than a complete joystick, it is a grip that attaches to a compatible Thrustmaster base, making it the ideal way for AVA or Sol-R base owners to add a dedicated space sim stick to their setup. With 21 mappable action buttons, it is engineered to improve your responsiveness during combat and exploration, and its design, inspired by great science-fiction blockbusters, comes in unique colors with a backlit ministick.

Its 2 triggers (one of them dual-position), 2 hat switches, ministick and thumbwheel give you fine dexterity as you pilot your ship. The grip has a built-in Z axis, essential for controlling a spaceship, and both the Z axis and the 2 virtual axes from the ministick and thumbwheel use H.E.A.R.T (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) magnetic sensors for surgical precision. Interchangeable ergonomic supports, a thumb rest and a hand rest, adapt to your right or left hand for lasting comfort, and 2 STAR cams are included so AVA base owners can change the axis curve for space simulation.

On an AVA base, you can also adjust the resistance, travel and damping of the grip for a fully customized feel. The grip measures 75 x 115 x 200 mm and weighs 309 g. It also has limited compatibility with the HOTAS Warthog base through the Warthog Converter, sold separately: in that case the LED is not adjustable, the Z axis does not work, the ministick works as an 8-way POV without click, and the thumbwheel’s virtual axis is not available. Please note this is a grip only; an AVA or Sol-R base is required and sold separately.
