T.A.R.G.E.T is Thrustmaster‘s free programming software, used to test, configure and program both flightsticks, including their RGB lighting zones.
The Thrustmaster Sol-R 2 HOSAS Space Sim Duo is a pair of Sol-R flightsticks set up for HOSAS (Hands On Stick And Stick) flying, the configuration of choice for intuitive and precise control in space simulation. With one stick in each hand, even more actions fall under your thumbs, for a deeply immersive and realistic space flight experience. The set includes 2 removable grips and 2 bases, each base equipped with a central throttle, for a total of 88 assignable buttons designed for combat and space exploration on PC.
Each flightstick has 21 buttons, including 2 triggers (one of them a double trigger), 2 hat switches, a ministick and a thumbwheel, so you have the dexterity to handle anything from tight dogfights to careful docking. Together the duo offers 6 axes of movement, X, Y and Z on each stick, using H.E.A.R.T (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) magnetic sensors with 16-bit accuracy, as well as 10 virtual axes from the thumbwheels, ministicks and throttles. That level of precision makes HOSAS a natural fit for piloting through space.
Thumb rests, wrist rests and 8 stability supports for the bases keep you comfortable through long sessions, and the thumb rests can be set up for left-handed use. Eleven T.A.R.G.E.T software-controlled RGB zones and unique colors complete the science-fiction inspired look. The removable grips can also be attached to AVA bases, and the Sol-R bases accept Thrustmaster‘s Viper and Hornet grips as well as future grips, all sold separately. Each stick measures 196 x 196 x 247 mm, the set weighs 2539 g, and each stick connects with its own detachable USB-C cable.
