T.A.R.G.E.T is Thrustmaster‘s free programming software, used to test, configure and program the Sol-R 1 Flightstick, including its RGB lighting zones.
The Thrustmaster Sol-R 1 Flightstick is a precise, ambidextrous joystick designed specifically for space combat and exploration on PC. It pairs a removable grip with a base equipped with a central throttle, giving you a total of 44 assignable actions so that weapons, targeting, power management and navigation all stay within reach of one hand. It is built for space simulation pilots at an advanced level who want a dedicated stick for their starship, and its design, inspired by great science-fiction blockbusters, gives your desk a distinctive look as you set course for the stars.
The grip carries 21 action buttons, including 2 triggers (one of them a dual-position trigger), 2 hat switches, a ministick and a thumbwheel, for fine control over your ship in the heat of a dogfight. The stick offers 3 axes of movement, X, Y and Z, using H.E.A.R.T (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) magnetic sensors with 16-bit accuracy, plus 5 virtual axes from the thumbwheel, throttle and ministick. That level of precision makes it an ideal stick for long journeys and fast fights across the galaxy.
Comfort comes from interchangeable ergonomic supports: a removable wrist rest and a thumb rest that can be set up for your right or left hand, while 4 stability supports keep the base planted. Eleven software-controlled RGB zones light the stick in unique colors. The removable grip can also be attached to an AVA base, and the Sol-R base accepts Thrustmaster‘s Viper and Hornet grips as well as future grips, all sold separately. The stick measures 196 x 196 x 247 mm, weighs 1270 g, connects with a detachable USB-C cable and is programmed with the free T.A.R.G.E.T software.
