Description

SIMAGIC TB-NEO Upgradeable Handbrake

The SIMAGIC TB-NEO is a modular, load cell handbrake built to evolve with your sim racing setup. Rather than locking you into one fixed feel, it’s designed around an expandable platform: swap elastomers to tune the resistance, add an optional hydraulic module for damped response, or integrate a haptic reactor for telemetry-driven feedback. Whether you’re throwing a rally car into a hairpin, holding a drift, or launching from the line, the TB-NEO adapts to the driving you do.

At its core is a 100 kg load cell paired with a 12-bit high-precision sensor and SIMAGIC’s patented Full-Range Adaptive Sensing Technology, which optimizes signal gain across the entire pull. Fine movements are captured cleanly at initial engagement while output stays stable under heavier loads, delivering smooth, repeatable input from first touch to full pull, with fewer signal fluctuations than comparable products. Die-cast aluminum construction and precision CNC machining give the unit long-lasting rigidity, wrapped in a compact body with a POM grip.

Customization runs deep. The included elastomer kit spans four hardness levels, from the pre-installed yellow springs up through green T-type, green O-ring, and black O-ring elastomers, letting you build anything from a light, smooth pull with quick return to a firm stop, a dual-stage feel that stiffens through the stroke, or a damped hydraulic response with the optional hydraulic module. The handbrake also switches between horizontal and vertical configurations with five handle angles, so you can build a natural position for street, rally, drift, or track-focused setups. Everything is tuned in real time through SimPro Manager, including response, travel, input curves, resistance, and deadzone, and connecting a compatible haptic module unlocks deeper telemetry-driven control through SimHub. Connect directly to your PC over USB-C or to a compatible SIMAGIC wheelbase via RJ45, with a dedicated DC port for powering ecosystem add-ons.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the TB-NEO different from a regular handbrake?

The TB-NEO is built as a modular platform rather than a fixed unit. It combines a 100 kg load cell with SIMAGIC’s patented Full-Range Adaptive Sensing Technology for smooth, repeatable input across the entire pull, and it can be expanded over time with swappable elastomers, an optional hydraulic module for damped response, and an optional haptic reactor for telemetry-driven feedback.

Can I adjust the feel of the pull?

Yes, extensively. The included elastomer kit covers four hardness levels (yellow springs, green T-type, green O-ring, and black O-ring), letting you build anything from a light, smooth pull with quick return to a firm stop or a dual-stage feel that stiffens as you pull. Travel, spring tension, resistance, linearity, and deadzone are all adjustable, with fine-tuning done in real time through SimPro Manager.

Can it be mounted vertically or horizontally?

Both. The TB-NEO switches between horizontal and vertical configurations and offers five handle angles, so you can set up a natural position for street, rally, drift, or track-focused driving.

How does it connect to my setup?

You can connect it directly to your PC via the included USB-C cable, or to a compatible SIMAGIC wheelbase via the included RJ45 (Ethernet) cable. A dedicated DC port powers optional ecosystem accessories. The TB-NEO is a PC platform device.

What software does it use?

SIMAGIC’s SimPro Manager handles all configuration, including response, travel, input curves, resistance, and deadzone. If you add a compatible haptic module such as the P-HPR, SimHub support unlocks deeper telemetry-driven feedback effects.

Are the hydraulic and haptic modules included?

No. The P-HYS / P-HYSi hydraulic modules and the P-HPR / P-HPR GT haptic reactors are optional accessories sold separately. The TB-NEO ships with a complete elastomer kit, screw kit, and cables, so it is fully usable out of the box, and you can add modules later as your setup evolves.

Which games work with it?

Once connected, the TB-NEO appears as a standard analog input axis, making it compatible with virtually all major PC sim racing titles that support a handbrake, including rally, drift, and track games.

What is included in the box?

The TB-NEO handbrake, an elastomer kit (yellow springs and barrel gaskets pre-installed, plus black O-rings, green O-rings, and green T-seals), a screw kit with hex keys, an Ethernet cable, a USB-C data cable, a quick guide, and a SIMAGIC sticker.
