Next Level Racing Platform Manager is used on Windows PC to calibrate the platform, manage game profiles, tune motion effects and enable VR Headway compensation (serial number required to download).
The Next Level Racing Motion Plus Platform is a full cockpit mover and Next Level Racing‘s first motion platform with heave, pitch and roll. Instead of moving only the seat, it moves the whole simulator, so your seat and mounted flight controls travel together. Next Level Racing has built motion products for flight sim enthusiasts as well as sim racers since 2014, and this platform performs 4000 microprocesses from the game every second for accurate feedback while driving or in flight. It installs under a compatible frame, runs quietly enough for home use, and is modular, so you can start with one unit and expand over time.
Rather than industrial or adapted actuators, it uses technology developed purely for simulation, with magnetic encoders on the motor shaft for precise, ultra-low latency movement. It reaches acceleration of up to 1100 mm/s² and roll velocity of up to 21° per second, with braking and acceleration effects at up to 8° per second, and it carries up to 250 kg of cockpit, user and accessories combined. The result is emulated G-forces from bumps, vibrations, braking and acceleration felt through the whole chassis. One unit with the included pivot bar gives 2 DOF, a second unit adds heave for 3 DOF, and the Motion Platform V3 or Traction Plus Platform can be added for further combinations.
Everything is managed in the Next Level Racing Platform Manager software, compatible with all major racing and flight games on PC, including VR Headway 2.0, which compensates for platform movement in your VR headset to reduce motion sickness. For flight, the platform works out of the box with the Flight Simulator Pro, while the Flight Simulator cockpit requires the Next Level Racing Motion Adapter Frame, sold separately. On the racing side, it fits the GTtrack and Elite series cockpits out of the box. Please note this is a single motion platform unit; a compatible cockpit, a Windows PC and a supported game are required.
