The Next Level Racing Lockable Castor Wheels are a set of ten castors that turn a compatible cockpit into a rig you can roll around the room. For simmers who share their space, a full cockpit loaded with a yoke or HOTAS, pedals and screens can be awkward to move. With castors fitted, you can push the whole setup against a wall when the flight is over, roll it out for cleaning, or take it to another room without lifting a heavy frame. They also make sense in commercial spaces where simulators are moved and rearranged on a regular basis.
Moving the rig is only half of the job; it also needs to stay still once you are seated. Each castor locks with a simple push of its lever. Unlocked, the cockpit rolls freely; locked, it holds its position, so the frame will not drift while you push hard on the rudder pedals, pull back on the controls or climb in and out of the seat for a long session. You get the convenience of a mobile setup while keeping the stable base that precise control inputs depend on. The set includes ten lockable castors and weighs 1.5 kg in total.
Next Level Racing lists the castors for the F-GT Formula and GT Simulator Cockpit, the F-GT Frame Only, the GT Seat Add-on for Wheel Stand DD or Wheel Stand 2.0, and the Challenger cockpit, so check that your cockpit is one of these models before ordering. GTtrack owners do not need them, since castors already come with the GTtrack cockpit. The set ships in a compact box and fits on the compatible frame. Please note the castors are an add-on only; the compatible cockpit is sold separately.
