Echo Dongle + Controller Update is used to update the firmware of the Echo controller and its wireless dongle.
The Honeycomb Echo Aviation Controller is a complete flight control system in a compact, handheld form, built for simmers who want to fly from the couch, on the go, or wherever space is tight. It brings the core functions of Honeycomb‘s Alpha yoke, Bravo throttle and Charlie rudder pedals together in one controller, combining pitch, roll, yaw, throttle, flaps, trim and landing gear with a cockpit-style layout, so no pedals, desk mounts or sim rig are required. This is the PC and Mac version, designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator and also compatible with X-Plane 11 and 12 and Prepar3D.
Pitch and roll are handled by a 16-bit Hall-Effect thumbstick that delivers smooth, drift-free control with long-term accuracy, while mechanically linked, self-recentering Hall-Effect rudder pedals give precise yaw input and coordinated turns. Four detented sliders with interchangeable caps cover throttle, flaps and speed brakes, and the included commercial and general aviation lever caps let you match the layout to the aircraft you fly. A textured trim wheel provides precise pitch trim for stable climbs, cruise and landings, and tactile levers for flaps, parking brake and gear, plus assignable switches, keep key cockpit functions under your fingers.
Integrated system buttons give quick access to the camera, checklist and toolbar. The Echo connects wirelessly through the included 2.4 GHz dongle for low-latency input, or by wire with the USB-C to USB-A cable. Its integrated 1200 mAh battery offers up to 15 hours of flight time, with an LED charge indicator in the Honeycomb button and fast USB-C charging between sessions. A hard shell travel case is included for secure storage and travel. Honeycomb provides dongle and controller firmware updates, an input overview and ready-to-use profiles for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
