Asetek RaceHub is used to calibrate and fine-tune the handbrake, with settings saved to its onboard memory.
The Asetek Racing Load Cell Handbrake is a high-precision handbrake built for exacting car control in rally, drift and any discipline where a quick pull on the lever decides the corner. Engineered in Denmark, it brings the same focus on build quality and realism as the rest of the Asetek Racing range to a compact add-on that fits most sim racing cockpits. Whether you are throwing a rally car into a hairpin, holding a slide through a long drift or simply want a proper handbrake in your rig, it gives you consistent, force-based control every time you reach for it.
Instead of measuring lever position, the handbrake uses a genuine 200 kg load cell with 16-bit resolution to read how hard you pull, for ultra-precise, repeatable input and long-term stability under aggressive use. A two-stage resistance system built from a tunable spring and elastomer stack delivers a progressive feel that mirrors real hydraulic braking, and lets you set your preferred stiffness and braking profile. At the push of a button, it switches between pressure-based analog input and crisp digital on/off operation, so it adapts to every simulator. The mechanism has been tested for 1,000,000 brake cycles.
The all-metal aluminum and steel construction and rigid lever deliver zero flex and a solid pull. Four M6 threaded T-nuts with an 80 mm wide pattern and a variable 30 to 69 mm length make installation flexible: mount it on the left or right side of your cockpit with the included bracket, pair it with the Asetek Racing Dual Mode Shifter, or move to table clamping. It connects to a PC over USB-C and is calibrated in Asetek RaceHub, with settings saved to the onboard memory. It is also Xbox ready when used with an Asetek Racing Xbox-compatible wheelbase and steering wheel. Please note table clamps are sold separately.
