Thrustmaster TSS Handbrake (Handbrake and Sequential Shifter)

The Thrustmaster TSS Handbrake is a 2-in-1 add-on that works as a progressive handbrake or as a sequential shifter, built to help you master rally driving and take on the most demanding circuits. Inspired by real-world professional equipment and reproduced at 1:1 scale, it is aimed at expert sim racers who want a realistic lever for drifting, hairpins and controlled slides, plus a responsive sequential gearbox for GT and rally cars, all from a single unit that joins Thrustmaster‘s racing ecosystem of wheels, pedal sets, wheel rims and add-ons.

In handbrake mode, the progressive action gives you fine control of the rear wheels through tight turns and drifts, while sequential shifter mode delivers controlled, responsive gear changes. The lever can be used in a vertical position for rally or a horizontal position for GT driving, using the included Horizontal Mode Add-On, and a kit in the box lets you adjust the lever’s inclination. Inside, H.E.A.R.T. (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) magnetic sensors provide surgical precision that will not decrease over time, while industrial-class flat coil springs with 4 kg of resistance give the lever a firm, consistent feel.

The TSS Handbrake is made of 90% metal, steel and aluminum, with high-quality components including German-made slide bearings, and its knob is shaped to fit the hand. It can be mounted in a cockpit or attached to a desk with the TM Racing Clamp (sold separately). On PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, it is compatible with the T128, T248, T-GT / T-GT II, T300 series, TS-XW, TX series and T598 racing wheels; on PC, it works with all racing wheels via USB. Detachable cables for PC and for consoles are included.
