The Thrustmaster TS-PC Racer Ferrari 488 Challenge Edition is a PC racing wheel that pairs the TS-PC servo base with an officially licensed replica of the Ferrari 488 Challenge wheel. It is aimed at expert PC sim racers who want a powerful belt-driven brushless base and a premium GT wheel in one package. The TS-PC base at its heart is also sold on its own as the TS-PC Racer Servo Base, so this edition is the choice if you want it delivered with the Ferrari wheel already included.
The industrial-class 2nd-generation brushless motor delivers 40 W force feedback with strong velocity, from long stall curves (STALL mode) to very responsive zigzags (DYNAMIC mode). Thrustmaster rates it at 50% more dynamics, 4 times the stall force and 1.6 times the torque of its TX and T300 RS bases. A dual belt system keeps sessions smooth with no dead zones, the patent-pending Motor Cooling Embedded system prevents overheating while staying silent, and H.E.A.R.T magnetic sensing with a Field Oriented Control algorithm gives 16-bit resolution (65,536 values). The external Turbo Power supply provides 400 W peaks with 86% efficiency, and rotation adjusts from 270° to 1080° under a metal top cover.
The wheel is a 9:10 scale replica of the Ferrari 488 Challenge wheel, 32 cm in diameter, hand-stitched in Alcantara from Italy, the same material used on genuine Ferrari wheels. It offers 25 programmable functions, with a black brushed anodized metal faceplate and paddle shifters, 15 LEDs for RPM, 2 D-pads with push function, 2 rotary switches with push function and 8 action buttons. The wheel is detachable and the base works with Thrustmaster rims such as the Ferrari F1 Wheel Add-On or TM Open Wheel, plus T3PA and T3PA-PRO pedals, the TH8A shifter and the TSS Handbrake Sparco Mod+, all sold separately. Please note pedals are not included.
