The Thrustmaster T300 Racing Wheel Servo Base is the force feedback heart of the T300RS series, sold on its own for drivers who want to build their setup around the add-on wheel of their choice. It is the same base used across the T300RS, T300RS GT and T300 Ferrari Integral Racing Wheel Alcantara Edition, and it works with PS5, PS4 and PC. It is aimed at advanced players who want to tailor their rig to different motorsport styles, or who want to replace or add a base to an existing Thrustmaster wheel collection.
Force feedback comes from a brushless servomotor delivering nearly 25 W of power for fast, precise and quiet performance. Unlike a simple brushed motor, the brushless design keeps operation extremely quiet. A dual-belt system reduces disruptive noise and smooths out movement for a more supple, flexible feel, while still transmitting the details of the track to your hands. Position is read by Thrustmaster‘s patented contactless H.E.A.R.T (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) sensor, with no potentiometer, offering up to 16-bit resolution, or 65,536 values, and precision that will not degrade over time.
The base features Thrustmaster‘s quick and easy wheel changing system, giving access to the ecosystem of Thrustmaster add-on wheels designed for different disciplines, from GT circuit racing to rally on rough terrain. It measures 33 x 29 x 21 cm and weighs about 4.6 kg. In most games the base is recognized as a T500RS wheel, and Thrustmaster maintains compatible game lists for PlayStation on its website. Please note this is a wheelbase only; a Thrustmaster add-on wheel and a pedal set are required and sold separately.
