T.A.R.G.E.T is Thrustmaster‘s free programming software, used to create mapping profiles and to combine the stick and throttle into a single USB device.
The Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS HOTAS is a complete hands-on-throttle-and-stick setup for PC, combining the T.16000M FCS flight stick with the TWCS throttle in one box. It is the natural step up from the stick alone: your right hand flies the aircraft or spaceship while your left hand manages speed and a second set of controls, the most natural and intuitive way to sit in a virtual cockpit. Designed for advanced fliers and especially well suited to space simulation, it is equally at home in DCS, X-Plane, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Star Citizen, Elite Dangerous and War Thunder.
On the stick, pitch and roll use H.E.A.R.T HallEffect AccuRate Technology, contactless magnetic sensors that read 16000 x 16000 values, the same resolution as the HOTAS Warthog, with a 2.8 mm helical spring for firm, linear and smooth tension. The stick adds 4 axes including a twist rudder, 16 braille-style buttons, an 8-way hat switch and a trigger. The TWCS throttle brings 14 more buttons and a second 8-way hat switch, for a combined total of 5 axes, 30 buttons and two hat switches. Its S.M.A.R.T slide rail system gives a smooth 80 mm range of travel, with a tightening screw to set the friction exactly how you like it.
The throttle sits lower than quadrant-style systems for a more comfortable arm position, and the stick is fully ambidextrous with a twist rudder that can be locked when you fly with pedals. A rear RJ12 connector on the TWCS adds 3 more axes when you plug in the optional TFRP rudder pedals, and MFD cockpit panels can join the setup as well, both sold separately. The set connects to your PC over USB and works with the free T.A.R.G.E.T software, which lets you combine Thrustmaster devices into a single USB device and build custom profiles for every game.
