The Thrustmaster Quick Release Adapter brings your Thrustmaster wheel rims onto the T818 Direct Drive racing wheel base. The T818 introduced a new quick attachment system to the Thrustmaster racing wheel ecosystem, and this adapter is the link that lets compatible rims take advantage of it. It is aimed at drivers who have moved to the T818 and want to keep using the Thrustmaster rims they already own, or who run several rims and want to switch between them quickly as they change cars, disciplines or games.

The quick attachment system is all about speed and simplicity. Once the adapter is fitted to a rim, swapping that rim on the T818 base takes about 5 seconds, and no tools are needed at any point. That makes it easy to go from a round GT rim to a formula-style wheel between sessions, or to hand the rig over to another driver with their preferred wheel, without reaching for a hex key or interrupting the flow of a race night. Every rim equipped with its own adapter is ready to click on and drive.

Because the adapter is sold on its own, you can equip each of your Thrustmaster wheel rims with one and build a library of rims that are always ready to swap. Please note this is an adapter only; a Thrustmaster T818 Direct Drive base and a compatible Thrustmaster wheel rim are required and sold separately.
