ThrustmapperX is Thrustmaster‘s free configuration app for Windows and Xbox, used to set mini-stick sensitivity, trigger travel and button mapping.
The Thrustmaster eSwap X2 H.E is the Hall effect version of the eSwap X2 modular gamepad, built for players who want precision that does not fade over time. Officially licensed for Xbox and compatible with Windows PCs, it replaces conventional potentiometer mini-sticks with H.E.A.R.T. (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) magnetic sensing, designed to eliminate stick drift. It keeps the X2’s Hot-Swap modular layout, mechanical buttons and four rear buttons, making it the choice in the X2 family for competitive players who log long hours and want consistent aim for the life of the controller.
H.E.A.R.T. draws on 15 years of Thrustmaster Hall effect experience in high-end flight simulation joysticks. Magnetic sensors measure the position of each mini-stick without contact, tracking movements to within 0.01 degree and avoiding the wear that causes drift on traditional sticks. The mechanical face buttons were measured 64% faster than membrane buttons in lab conditions, with an activation distance of just 0.3 mm, so actions register the instant you press. Thrustmaster‘s partner team NRG competes with the eSwap X2 H.E, a sign of its esports focus.
Hot-Swap technology lets you change modules in seconds and run the mini-sticks in a symmetrical or asymmetrical layout, or try other configurations. Four extra buttons on the back accept any function, and the free ThrustmapperX software on Windows and Xbox lets you tune mini-stick sensitivity, trigger activation travel and button mapping. The box includes interchangeable stick, D-pad, grip and trigger modules, the D-IPPON D-pad, spare stick caps and a screwdriver. Compared with the eSwap X2 Pro, the H.E swaps standard sticks for Hall effect sensing.
