The Thrustmaster Cockpit Mounting Kit is a non-slip metal support that lets you install the T818 Direct Drive racing wheel base on a sim racing cockpit. The T818 has four mounting points underneath that allow it to be attached to most cockpits directly, but some cockpits need an adapter to accept the base without drilling. This kit is that adapter: it sits between the base and your cockpit’s wheel deck so you can fit the T818 cleanly, without modifying your rig, and get straight to driving.

The support is designed to adapt to most cockpits by allowing precise, in-depth adjustment, so you can set the base’s position exactly where it needs to be for an optimal driving position. Getting the wheel at the right distance from the seat is key to comfort, control and consistency over long sessions, and the adjustable support helps you dial in that reach without compromise. The non-slip metal construction keeps the base firmly in place, giving the T818 a stable foundation for its Force Feedback.

The Cockpit Mounting Kit is made for the T818 and is listed for PC, the platform of the T818 base. If you race at a desk or table rather than in a cockpit, Thrustmaster offers the separate Desk Mounting Kit, which attaches the T818 using two sturdy clamps.
