The Thrustmaster AVA Offset Adapter is an extension for the Thrustmaster AVA joystick base that changes the orientation of your grip, letting you set it at 15° or 30°. Angling the grip is especially useful when the joystick is set up in a central position, where it makes a real difference to both comfort and realism. This compact adapter is designed for pilots who want their AVA setup to feel closer to the real aircraft and more comfortable over long sorties.
The adapter is a metal extension that adds 2 inches (5 cm) between the AVA Base and your Thrustmaster joystick grip, while offsetting the grip to your choice of 15° or 30°. That angle brings your hand into a more natural position, reducing strain during extended missions and making the grip feel more like the real thing. The metal construction keeps the extension sturdy, so the grip stays firmly in place once it is mounted, session after session.
Mounting is designed to be quick and sturdy. The top of the adapter uses a ring similar to the one found on Thrustmaster joystick grips, so you can install it and fit a new grip without dismantling the AVA Base. It measures 40 x 40 x 58 mm and weighs just 100 g, and it slots into the growing AVA ecosystem alongside the AVA Desktop Plate, extra cams, springs and grips. No software or power is needed. Please note this is the adapter only; the AVA Base and a joystick grip are required and sold separately.
