Next Level Racing HFS is used on Windows PC to read game telemetry, control the intensity of each of the eight motors and create game-specific haptic profiles (serial number required to download).
SimHub (optional) is optional third-party software that can send telemetry to the HF8, including alongside other telemetry-driven devices such as motion platforms or bass shakers.
The Next Level Racing HF8 is a haptic feedback pad that straps onto your seat and lets you feel your aircraft through eight strategically placed vibration zones. Designed for flight simulation as well as sim racing and first-person shooters, it turns turbulence and in-flight events into localized sensations across your back and seat. Adjustable straps fit it to the Next Level Racing Flight Simulator, Elite Series seat and gaming chairs, and to third-party flight seats, racing seats and gaming chairs, making it an accessible way to add immersion to an existing flight setup. It also complements motion platforms and other haptic hardware you may already use.
On PC, the HF8 connects over USB and runs with Next Level Racing‘s plug-and-play HFS software, which reads in-game telemetry and drives each of the eight motors individually, with no extra sound card or amplifier required. Flight effects include flaps, G-force, air brakes, ground bumps, damage, stalls and APU/JFS running, so you can feel the aircraft respond as you deploy surfaces, pull hard in a turn or roll over uneven ground. The intensity of each motor and each effect can be set to your preference and saved per game, and Next Level Racing documents optional SimHub support for advanced customization.
For consoles, music and movies, the HF8 connects through its 3.5 mm audio jack and converts the low frequencies of the audio signal into vibration felt through all eight motors at once, with intensity set on the inline controller. On PlayStation, the pad must connect to the controller’s 3.5 mm jack, so Bluetooth headsets cannot be used at the same time and a wired headset or speakers are required. Per-motor control and telemetry flight effects require a Windows PC with HFS. The pad is made from cold-moulded foam with perforated PU leather, supports users up to 150 kg and weighs 2.6 kg. The HF8 Pro adds stronger motors and premium mesh upholstery.
