The MOZA AB9 is a professional active force feedback base built for serious flight simulation. Powered by dual class-leading servo motors and MOZA’s proprietary MOZA Control Loading System (MCLS), it delivers precise, dynamic force feedback that accurately recreates an aircraft’s response across every phase of flight, from taxiing and takeoff to landing and turbulence. With 9 Nm of continuous torque and 12 Nm of peak torque, the AB9 has the strength and finesse to handle both delicate trim inputs and intense, high-load maneuvers, making it ideal for enthusiasts and professional trainers alike.
At the heart of the system, MCLS combines the high-torque dual servo motors with a maximum adjustable ±20° of travel to faithfully simulate a wide range of flight scenarios. A high-resolution magnetic encoder captures every control input with exceptional accuracy, responding precisely to the smallest adjustments and the most rapid movements for deep realism and immersion. Everything is managed through MOZA’s plug-and-play Cockpit control software, where shareable presets and fully adjustable force feedback parameters let you tailor the feel to your exact preferences.
Constructed from aviation-grade aluminum alloy with an automotive-quality finish, the AB9 is engineered for mechanical and thermal stability and has endured over a million test cycles for long-term reliability. A fanless, sealed design keeps operation quiet while resisting dust ingress and extending lifespan, and an ultra-smooth servo motor with low cogging torque ensures class-leading smoothness and responsiveness. Its open ecosystem even supports third-party flight sticks with compatible mounts, giving you flexibility in how you build your cockpit.
Beyond flight, the AB9 doubles as a sim racing device: paired with the MOZA Active Shifter Knob, it becomes a true active force feedback gear shifter with H-pattern, sequential, and handbrake modes.
