The CONSPIT ARES 20 Platinum is the flagship of the ARES direct drive series, engineered for sim racers who demand uncompromised torque, precision, and endurance performance. Delivering 20 Nm of peak torque through a custom dual skewed-pole direct drive motor with cogging below 2.3%, it pairs raw strength with the ultra-smooth, highly detailed feedback that comes from a motor purpose-built for sim racing by professional drivers and motorsport engineers.
At its heart is the same 23-bit high-resolution optical encoder as the ARES 12, resolving steering angle below 0.01° with accuracy and stability beyond what magnetic systems can achieve, now paired with a torque slew rate of up to 9.5 Nm/ms for lightning-fast, faithful force feedback transitions. Ultra-high torque density from high-permeability cores, strong NdFeB magnets, and an optimized electromagnetic layout keeps this 20 Nm powerhouse remarkably compact at 134 × 150 × 287 mm and 7.9 kg, while real-time high-frequency thermal monitoring maintains full performance through the longest endurance stints.
The CNC-machined aerospace aluminum body carries front magnetic POGO contacts for quick installation of expansion modules such as the CSD Nano dashboard, a dedicated safety mode for supervised use, and support for the optional CES E-Stop, a valuable safeguard at this torque level. The CDR quick-release standard provides broad wheel compatibility, mounting is handled through four M6 bottom and four M8 side points, and everything is tuned in Conspit Link 2.0, including pro presets developed with real-world racers. Please note this is a wheelbase only; a steering wheel and wheel-side quick release are required and sold separately.
