The Asetek Racing Round Black Leather Rim is a classic round steering wheel rim, handmade from genuine leather for drivers who like a traditional shape that works with almost any car. Winding road drives, GT races, rally stages and drift sessions all feel at home on its full circle, which makes it a natural all-rounder on an Asetek Racing GT Button Box. Its black leather is set off by an orange center point indicator and orange hand-sewn stitching, a sporty detail that separates it from the other round rim in the family.
The rim delivers top-of-the-range ergonomics while retaining a super stiff, rigid feel, so your inputs go straight to the car without flex or vagueness. The 328 mm diameter gives a good balance between precision and leverage, and the hand-stitched leather cover is made from materials inspired by real sports cars, giving it a durable, authentic feel under your hands. The orange indicator at the top of the rim makes it easy to see where straight ahead is after a quick correction or a long slide.
Fitting the rim is a simple mechanical job: it attaches to any Asetek Racing GT Button Box with the included mounting screws and 2.5 mm Allen key, and no software is required. As every rim is handcrafted, small variations in stitching, leather stretch and the finish around the corners are normal. Drivers who want a fire-resistant, antistatic cover can choose the Round Comfort+ Rim instead. Please note this is the rim only; a GT Button Box is required and sold separately.
