Asetek Racing La Prima Wheelbase Boost Kit (16Nm)

The Asetek Racing La Prima Wheelbase Boost Kit is the official power upgrade for the La Prima and Tony Kanaan direct drive wheelbases. It is aimed at owners who want to unlock more of what their base can do without replacing it, in line with the Asetek Racing upgrade philosophy: you keep the hardware you already have and only pay for the upgrade itself. The kit lets the wheelbase take full advantage of its industrial-grade servo motor, turning an existing La Prima setup into a noticeably stronger and more detailed force feedback system.

With the kit installed, output rises to 16 Nm of peak torque and the slew rate is enhanced to 6.7 Nm/ms. In practice that means more than raw strength: the extra headroom and faster response give the driver stronger, more nuanced force feedback, with a clearer distinction between every bump, kerb and surface change. Heavy loads through high-speed corners stay controlled, while small details on top of those forces remain easy to read instead of being lost when the base works hard.

Installation is plug and play. Simply connect the kit to your wheelbase, adjust the settings in RaceHub, and you are ready to hit the track. Reusing your existing wheelbase rather than replacing it also reduces waste, which is part of why Asetek Racing builds its products around upgrade kits.
