Asetek Racing RaceHub is used to calibrate the brake and throttle, set dead zones and throttle curves, and adjust the RGB LED, with settings saved to the pedals.
The Asetek Racing Invicta Pedals T.H.O.R.P. II are the flagship brake and throttle set of the Asetek Racing range, built for sim racers who want the braking feel of a real race car rather than an approximation of it. At their heart is the T.H.O.R.P. II hydraulic brake system, an evolution of the original design that adds a wider range of adjustment, with the possibility of up to 40% longer travel and a second stage that can be reached with less force. Asetek Racing places the Invicta set above its La Prima and Forte pedals, so it is aimed at committed drivers chasing consistency, while newer racers can start lower in the range and move up later.
T.H.O.R.P. stands for Twin Hydraulic Opposing Rapid Pistons, and the brake works in two stages just like a real car. In the soft stage, a slave cylinder compresses an interchangeable elastomer to recreate the pads closing on the disc; once full travel is reached, a mechanical stop locks the system and your foot presses directly against hydraulic fluid in the hard stage. An automotive-grade pressure sensor reads 0 to 100 bar, about 180 kg on the pedal plate, so you can modulate pressure and trail brake precisely while building muscle memory based on force instead of position. The throttle uses a contactless 16-bit Hall sensor with no mechanical wear, and its curve can be shaped in RaceHub, for example linear in the dry and progressive in the wet.
The pedal base, arms and plates are black anodized aluminum with CNC machined contrast surfaces, and the die-cast zero play pedal arms are rated for 200 kg of force, with the set tested to 1,000,000 activations. Adjustments are now made from the front, and every adjustable part is colored orange for quick, tool-free changes: five elastomers, initial touch hardness, pedal stops, travel and pedal plates that move along the x and y axes. A T.H.O.R.P. II Long Travel Kit and a medium throttle spring are included. The base has an integrated heel rest with an RGB LED and uses a single USB connection whether you run two or three pedals, with calibrations stored onboard. Please note the clutch pedal is sold separately and the set works with PC (Windows 10/11).
