The Asetek Racing Forte GT Button Box (Black, Aluminum) is inspired by the cockpits of real GT cars and serves as the core of a modular steering wheel: you choose the wheel rim, and you can change or upgrade it whenever your racing calls for something different. Swap rims in seconds to adapt the same controls to GT, formula, rally or drifting. Designed for PC sim racers on an Asetek Racing wheelbase, this Black, Aluminum edition stands apart from the B/G edition with Invicta anodized aluminum buttons and encoders, a laser-etched forged carbon exterior and both orange and black Kinky switch sets in the box.
Every function sits right where your thumbs expect it. The face combines 8 push buttons, 2 two-way toggle switches, 2 seven-way Kinky switches, 3 twelve-position rotary encoders and 4 thumb encoders, while two contactless magnetic shifter paddles give you fast, precise gear changes. The box can be upgraded with dual clutch paddles and additional mappable paddles when you want more control on the grid. A set of 32 fully customizable aRGB LEDs, including 15 rev lights, 6 flag lights, 8 button LEDs and 3 backlit rotary switches, keeps shift points, flags and active settings readable at a glance through every stint.
The injection molded chassis uses a carbon, glass and plastic composite allied to a metal spider interface, giving a stiff, non-flexing wheel that delivers every force feedback detail to your hands. It is topped by a genuine 2 mm woven carbon fiber face plate. The no-play quick release carries data and power straight from the wheelbase, with no cables, batteries or wireless signals. RaceHub lets you map all inputs and tune rev lights, LED behavior, pit limiter, night mode and clutch functions. It is compatible with all Asetek Racing wheelbases on Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs. Please note that a wheel rim is required and sold separately; the button box is not compatible with wheel handles.
