Asetek RaceHub is used to configure the wheelbase, save profile presets, adjust force feedback, steering range and LED settings.
The Asetek Racing Forte 18Nm Direct Drive Wheelbase is the middle step of the Asetek Racing wheelbase family, between the entry Initium and the flagship 27Nm Invicta. It is aimed at sim racers who want serious direct drive performance and a full ecosystem without going to the very top of the range. From the first lap you feel every bump, kerb and change of grip through the wheel, whether you are threading through Eau Rouge or managing tyre wear over a long race, and it is designed in Denmark with the same minimalistic industrial styling and anodized aluminum housing as its bigger sibling.
The direct drive motor delivers 18 Nm of peak and holding torque, defined by Asetek as continuous output for up to 40 seconds, with a peak slew rate of 6.7 Nm/ms for quick, crisp reactions. For most drivers 18 Nm already sits well above the forces they use day to day, leaving room for detail on top. A 22-bit absolute encoder gives a resolution of 0.000085 degrees, about 4,000,000 steps per revolution, so the smallest correction is captured and every signal from the car comes through. The slip ring is designed and tested beyond 200,000,000 rotations for long-term reliability.
The Asetek Racing Quick Release is included and works with a simple paddle press, with no batteries, wireless signal or cables to fail. Asetek Racing wheels fit natively, while third-party wheels use the Universal QR Adapter or the Invicta Quick Release Adapter. At the rear, five USB-C ports make the base the hub for your Asetek Racing pedals and wheels. Four programmable RGB LED zones can be dimmed or switched off completely. In RaceHub you save profile presets, set steering range, bumpstop hardness and range, overall force, damping and smoothing, on a Windows 10 or 11 PC. Pre-installed bottom T-nuts allow bottom, side or front mounting in a rig. Please note this is a wheelbase only; a steering wheel is required and sold separately.
