Asetek RaceHub is used to update firmware and set up every device in the bundle, from force feedback, steering range and profile presets to button mapping, LED behavior and pedal calibration.
This Asetek Racing bundle builds a complete GT-style setup around the La Prima 12Nm direct drive wheelbase, the La Prima GT Button Box fitted with the Round Black Leather Rim, the Forte brake and throttle pedals and the La Prima Clutch System. The La Prima has the smallest motor in the Asetek Racing range, but it shares the build quality, durability and user experience of the bigger bases, which makes this bundle the most accessible way into the full ecosystem. The classic round rim and three-pedal layout suit GT, road and rally cars driven with a manual clutch, and the set is aimed at sim racers moving up to direct drive who want matched hardware from the first lap.
The wheelbase delivers 12 Nm of peak and holding torque with a 4 Nm/ms peak slew rate, read by a 22-bit encoder that resolves 0.000085 degrees, about 4,000,000 steps per revolution, with no cogging or lag. The GT Button Box offers 84 input options from 8 push buttons, two 7-way switches, three 12-position rotary encoders, two thumb encoders and 2 contactless magnetic shifter paddles, plus 15 customizable aRGB rev LEDs. Under your feet, the Forte brake uses the two-stage M.L.C.P.C. load cell system with up to 180 kg of force at the pedal plate, while the throttle and clutch both use contactless 16-bit Hall sensors for wear-free, precise inputs.
The base has an anodized extruded aluminum housing, a slip ring tested to more than 200,000,000 rotations and the Asetek Racing Quick Release, which carries data and power to the wheel with no cables, batteries or wireless signals. The 328 mm hand-sewn leather rim bolts onto the button box, and the clutch slides onto the Forte pedal base with two screws and a small connector. USB ports at the rear of the wheelbase make it the hub for the pedals, and everything is mapped and tuned in RaceHub, including the clutch bite point. The La Prima can later be raised to 16 Nm with the Boost Kit. Please note a cockpit or wheel stand is sold separately, and the bundle works on PC (Windows 10 or 11) only.
