Asetek Racing RaceHub is used to update firmware and set up every device in the bundle, from wheelbase force feedback and profiles to button mapping, rev lights and pedal calibration.
This Asetek Racing bundle pairs the La Prima 12Nm direct drive wheelbase and the La Prima Formula Steering Wheel in orange with the flagship Invicta T.H.O.R.P. II brake and throttle pedals. It is built for drivers who want a compact direct drive base and a formula-style wheel, but refuse to compromise where lap times are made: under the right foot. Within the La Prima Formula family, it replaces the mechanical Forte pedals of the starter bundle with the fully hydraulic Invicta set, in a two-pedal layout; a sibling bundle adds the La Prima clutch for three pedals.
The wheelbase delivers 12 Nm of peak and holding torque with a 4 Nm/ms peak slew rate, and its 22-bit encoder resolves 0.000085 degrees, about 4,000,000 steps per revolution, with no cogging or lag. The 290 mm Formula wheel brings 12 push buttons, two 7-way switches, three 12-position rotary encoders, two thumb encoders, magnetic shifter paddles and 15 aRGB RevLEDs. The T.H.O.R.P. II brake works in two stages like a real car: a soft stage where an elastomer recreates the pads closing on the disc, then a hard stage pressing against hydraulic fluid, read by an automotive-grade 0 to 100 bar pressure sensor, about 180 kg on the pedal plate, for precise trail braking.
The wheelbase has an anodized extruded aluminum housing, a slipring tested to more than 200,000,000 rotations and the Asetek Racing quick release, which carries data and power to the wheel without cables, batteries or wireless signals. Its rear USB ports act as a hub, and the Invicta pedals include a cable to plug straight into the base. The pedals use die-cast zero play arms rated for 200 kg, five elastomers, front-accessible orange adjusters and an included Long Travel Kit. Everything is set up in RaceHub, from force feedback profiles to button mapping and throttle curves. Please note a cockpit or wheel stand to mount the setup is sold separately, and the bundle works with PC (Windows 10/11) only.
