This Asetek Racing bundle is the most powerful setup of the La Prima Formula family: the La Prima 12Nm direct drive wheelbase with the La Prima Wheelbase Boost Kit, the La Prima Formula Steering Wheel in orange, the Forte brake and throttle pedals and the La Prima Clutch System. It is aimed at drivers who want stronger force feedback from day one, along with a three-pedal layout for manual shifting. Compared with the Forte three-pedal bundle, the only difference is the Boost Kit, which raises the wheelbase from 12 Nm to 16 Nm of peak torque.
With the Boost Kit installed, the wheelbase reaches 16 Nm of peak torque and its slew rate rises from 4 Nm/ms to 6.7 Nm/ms, giving more headroom so heavy loads stay controlled while small details over bumps and kerbs remain easy to read. The 22-bit encoder resolves 0.000085 degrees with no cogging or lag. The 290 mm Formula wheel brings 12 push buttons, two 7-way switches, three 12-position rotary encoders, two thumb encoders, magnetic shifter paddles and 15 aRGB RevLEDs. The Forte pedals use the two-stage M.L.C.P.C. load cell brake up to 180 kg with a contactless 16-bit Hall throttle, and the clutch uses a 16-bit wireless magnetic Hall sensor.
The Boost Kit is plug and play: connect it to the wheelbase and adjust the settings in RaceHub. The wheelbase has an anodized extruded aluminum housing, a slipring tested to more than 200,000,000 rotations and the Asetek Racing quick release, which carries data and power to the wheel without cables, batteries or wireless signals. Its rear USB ports act as a hub for the pedals, and the clutch slides onto the Forte set with two screws and a small electrical connector. Everything is set up in RaceHub, from force feedback to pedal calibration and bite point. Please note a cockpit or wheel stand to mount the setup is sold separately, and the bundle works with PC (Windows 10/11) only.
