With huge maps, 128-player battles and graphics that push the limits, Battlefield 6 promises to be one of the most ambitious games of 2025. But ambitious graphics also means: is my PC ready?

If you love competitive FPS, or simply want to experience Battlefield in all its visual glory, choosing the right PC is essential. In this guide, we explain:

  • the official developer configuration,
  • how to choose between fluidity (FPS) and visual quality (graphics),
  • and above all, how much FPS you can expect from NOX Gaming PCs.

Official Battlefield 6 configurations

EA has confirmed three tiers: Minimum, Recommended and Ultra.

  • To get started, you’ll need at least an i5/Ryzen 5-generation processor and 16GB RAM. A graphics card equivalent to an RTX 2060 is also required. This is enough to run the game in 1080p at low settings, around 30 FPS. The old reliable GTX 1080 Ti unfortunately won’t be enough this time…
  • To continue, on the recommended side, the bar is raised: i7-10700 or Ryzen 7 3700X, still 16 GB RAM, and an RTX 3060 Ti / RX 6700 XT. We’re talking about real comfort in 1080p 60 FPS with the right settings.
  • To conclude, for the Ultra experience, EA recommends an i9-12900K or Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 32 GB RAM and an RTX 4080 / RX 7900 XTX. This configuration is designed to target 4K at 60 FPS in Ultra, or 1440p at 144 FPS.

These figures provide a good basis, but they don’t tell the whole story: your choice should also depend on your own priorities.

Graphics or FPS: it’s time to choose (or balance)

Battlefield is magnificent when everything is in Ultra: from the explosions that light up the night, to the realistic particle effects, the reflections on the water and the dynamic fog… However, all these computer-generated animations require an enormous amount of graphics power.

  • If you’re aiming for competitive gameplay (high FPS, less emphasis on graphics), the most important thing is to reduce some of the heavy options. For example, shadows, volumetric fog or reflections can be reduced. You’ll keep a sharp image, but above all perfect responsiveness, essential in a duel.
  • If you want visual immersion, push textures, viewing distance and geometry to the max. With a good 4K screen, Battlefield becomes a real interactive movie, but it all comes in exchange for FPS.
  • The best of both worlds? Use upscaling technologies such as DLSS 4 (NVIDIA), FSR 4 (AMD) or XeSS 2 (Intel). In Quality mode, they deliver excellent graphics, and can even help creating more frames per second, in some cases.

In short: to play competitively, we optimize for FPS. To play immersively, maximize graphics. And for most gamers, a balance between the two is ideal.

Which PC for which type of BF6 player?

First, competitive gamers, in 1080p

A Ryzen 5 9600X processor and an RTX 5060 Ti graphics card are all you need to achieve 140-180 FPS in 1080p, at low/medium settings. It’s the perfect choice if you have a 144 Hz or 240 Hz screen and your priority is responsiveness.

Then, balanced players, in 1440p

To enjoy High Graphics gaming at over 100 stable FPS, bet on a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and an RTX 5070 or RX 7800 XT graphics card. With a 144 Hz screen, it’s the most popular experience: fluid, beautiful and immersive. The NOX Gaming QUASAR is a good example of this class of PC.

Finally, the cinematic players, in 4K Ultra

If you want Battlefield 6 to look like a Hollywood blockbuster, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D + RTX 5080 combo is nearly unbeatable. You’ll be running at around 90-120 FPS in 4K Ultra, and even more with DLSS enabled. To go beyond this (120-160 FPS), you’ll need to aim for an RTX 5090, as it offers 32GB of GDDR7 VRAM. For this category of computers, NOX Gaming offers the NOVA, NOVA Tryx and STORM, offered with 5080s, but also available with 5090 cards on special request. Using the custom PC configurator is also a solution for obtaining an NVIDIA 5090 graphics card.
