Most dashboards in sim racing are either a bare screen with a USB cable or an overengineered button box trying to do too many jobs at once. The CONSPIT CSD lands in neither camp. It’s a dedicated display unit — a DDU — built specifically around SimHub, with physical controls, functional LED indicators, and a chassis that reflects what sim racing instrumentation should actually look and feel like.<\/p>\n
The centerpiece is a 5-inch IPS touchscreen running at 854×480 resolution and up to 350 lumens of brightness. It’s not just a monitor — it’s the primary interface for your live telemetry, lap data, car status, and session information, all pulled and rendered through SimHub. The touch functionality lets you cycle through auxiliary dashboard pages without reaching for a keyboard or taking your hands off the wheel any longer than necessary.<\/p>\n
Surrounding the screen are four segmented LED indicator zones with 31 individually configurable RGB LEDs. These are arranged across the top, sides, and bottom of the display to mirror the layout you’d find on a real GT race car dash. RPM, flags, radar, warnings, session status — each zone can be mapped independently. The CSD ships with a preloaded LED profile covering more than 20 preconfigured modes, so you get useful, meaningful lighting from the moment you launch SimHub. Every mode is adjustable from there.<\/p>\n
Four physical encoder knobs give you hands-on control without touching the screen. The two side-mounted knobs handle LED mode switching and brightness adjustment. The larger front knob navigates between main dashboard pages — useful mid-race when you want to flip between layouts without going near a touchscreen. All four knobs have a tactile detent feel with a solid, purposeful click, and all four can be fully remapped within SimHub for any additional in-game function you want to assign.<\/p>\n
The chassis is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy — the same material specification used in structural aerospace and motorsport components — then sandblasted and anodized for a premium matte finish that holds up to daily use. The profile is not flat. It has depth and form that reads as something built for a cockpit, not mounted on an afterthought bracket.<\/p>\n
At the rear, two data ports allow you to choose your mounting orientation freely and route your cable in whichever direction your rig demands. The CSD mounts on CONSPIT GT-Lite frames, standard aluminum profile rigs, and third-party cockpits via dedicated adapter brackets. Wheelbase mounting is also possible with the appropriate adapter.<\/p>\n
CONSPIT worked directly with the SimHub development team to build and validate the CSD’s integration. The result is official SimHub support with co-developed preset profiles — not just generic compatibility.
